Many of you have told us that online privacy should be easier: You want fast, reliable browsing without the hassle of managing yet another standalone service.

So, we got to work, and the result is a solution that delivers more protection, more trust, and more value.

Introducing LastPass Plus: private connections beyond your vault

Whether you're browsing at home or on the go, LastPass VPN keeps your connection private without you having to think about it.

When you open your laptop at a hotel, LastPass VPN helps prevent the local network from seeing the sites you visit or the content sent through your VPN connection. And when you walk into your favorite coffee shop, your connection is private before you take the first sip of your iced latte.

It’s the difference a trusted provider makes. LastPass Plus is funded by your subscription, not your data, so there’s never a question of how your privacy is being paid for.

In fact, privacy is at the core of the service by design.

LastPass VPN is powered by established global VPN infrastructure and operates under a strict no-log policy.* Your DNS queries** are also routed through an encrypted VPN tunnel, preventing your ISP (internet service provider) or any local network from seeing them.

*"no-log" means we don’t collect or log your browsing activity, the content you access, or DNS queries made through your VPN connection.
** DNS queries are the lookups your device makes to translate the URL of any site you visit (like www.google.com) into an IP address so it can connect to the site’s servers.

Getting started takes three easy steps:

  1. Go to the VPN section in your LastPass vault (left-hand menu) and upgrade to LastPass Plus (or get it at checkout if you’re new).
  2. Download the LastPass VPN app from the Microsoft Store.
  3. Sign in with your existing LastPass account credentials and connect.

That’s it.

One subscription for password security and fast, private browsing

Many privacy tools require a separate account and support experience.

This means more complexity when something goes wrong. With LastPass Plus, password management and private browsing come together in one place, making it easier to protect your digital life.

It’s part of our broader vision for secure access: comprehensive privacy and security in one place, for the way you live and work.

Already a Premium subscriber? Upgrade to LastPass Plus directly from your account to keep your browsing private.

New to LastPass, or on a free plan? Get password management and fast, private browsing with LastPass Plus.

FAQs: LastPass Plus

No. LastPass VPN operates under a strict no-log policy with respect to your activity inside the VPN tunnel: We don't log and can’t see or provide records of the websites you visit, the content you access, or any other activity conducted through your VPN connection. Your encrypted traffic isn't examined, logged, or stored, which means we have no record of VPN browsing activity that can be associated with you in any way. For more information, please read our privacy notice.

The main difference is consolidation. LastPass Plus puts password management and fast, private browsing under one subscription.

Many standalone VPNs require a separate account. If you've been looking for an online privacy tool that connects to a platform you already trust, LastPass Plus is the natural next step.

LastPass Plus is $7/month, billed at $84/year. For existing Premium customers ($3/month), that's just $4/month more, and it replaces any standalone VPN subscription you're currently paying for separately.

LastPass Plus is a subscription that bundles premium password management with LastPass VPN for fast, private browsing. It’s built for people who want comprehensive protection for passwords and browsing, delivered at a practical price in one package.

Currently, there’s no free trial of LastPass Plus. But if you're a Free plan subscriber or have an active Premium trial, you can upgrade to LastPass Plus directly from your account at any time.
